“Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Have the same regard for one another; do not be haughty; but associate with the lowly; do not be wise in your own estimation. Do not repay anyone evil for evil; be concerned for what is noble in the sight of all. If possible on your part, live at peace with all.”
– Romans 12:15-18
Members of the Men’s Club meet monthly for a Saturday breakfast to socialize and promote fellowship among the group.
The Men’s Club hosts one fundraiser selling Autobell car wash coupons which are great low cost “one size fits all” gifts. Net proceeds are used to purchase Christian oriented gifts for the youth in recognition of their involvement in parish programs, such as Christmas gifts for our primary grade students and bibles for our successful Confirmation candidates.
The Men’s Club has hosted a yearly no charge Spaghetti Dinner to show our appreciation for the efforts our parishioners make to the success of the parish. A pancake breakfast is planned for 2021, putting a spin on our idea to share a meal together. This is not a fundraiser, but donations received are used to defray the cost of the meal.
How To Participate
All men 18 and over who are members of the parish or interested in becoming a member are welcome. Men of all faiths are eligible to belong. There are no dues to pay and there is no interview process.
All Saints Men’s Club meets the first Wednesday of the month from August through June in the Parish Life Center. Meetings are informal. A brief business meeting is sometimes followed by a speaker with fellowship occurring before and afterward.
Anyone interested in joining the Men’s Club is invited to come to a meeting, or to contact Kirk Bumber or Jon Varvel for more information. All that is needed is a name, phone number, and email address so we can keep you informed of upcoming meetings and volunteer opportunities.
